| چکیده | ||
| خواسته ملت ایران برای تأسیس بانک ملی به‌منظور کاهش نفوذ سیاسی و اقتصادی بانک‌های خارجی در دوره پهلوی اول جامه عمل پوشید. در تأسیس این مؤسسه متخصصان آلمانی نقش پررنگی داشتند ولی اختلاس دکتر لیندن بلانت (ریاست بانک) به وجهه و عملکرد بانک آسیب رساند. این مقاله با تکیه بر اسناد و منابع تاریخی و با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی با تطبیق تاریخ ایران و جهان به بررسی چگونگی تأثیر سازوکار رویدادهای بین‌المللی بر اولین اختلاس بانک ملی ایران می‌پردازد و دستاوردهای قضایی و سیاسی آن را برای دولت پهلوی اول بیان می‌کند. یافته‌های این پژوهش حاکی از آن است که مدت‌زمان کوتاهی بعد از تأسیس بانک ملی، جهان دچار بزرگ‌ترین بحران اقتصادی شد. این امر همراه با کاهش ارزش پول ملی ایران و سقوط لیره استرلینگ زمینه‌های اختلاس هیأت مدیره بانک را فراهم کرد. همچنین افزایش روابط بین‌المللی با تأسیس جامعه ملل موجب تلاش ایران برای نشان دادن مشروعیت نظام قضایی نوین ایران پس از لغو کاپیتولاسیون نزد افکار عمومی دنیا شد. برگزاری دادگاه اختلاس دستاورد تبلیغاتی مناسبی در این زمینه برای دولت ایران فراهم کرد. کلیدواژه‌ها: بانک ملی، لیندن بلانت، بحران اقتصادی دنیا، سیستم قضایی نوین ایران | ||

| In order to reduce the political and economic influence of foreign banks, the demand of Iranian nation to establish the Iran National Bank was implemented in the first Pahlavi period. At the time of its establishment, German specialists played an important role, but the embezzlement of Dr. Lindenblatt (president of the Bank) tarnished the reputation and performance of this bank. In the present article, the effect of international events on the first and the most important embezzlement of National Bank Iran is investigated. The main issue of this study is how international event affected the embezzlement of Iran National Bank. Relying on classical documents, the methodology of this article is descriptive-analytic, which compare and analyze the history of Iran and the world on the aforementioned subject. Findings and Results: findings of this study show that shortly after the establishment of National Bank, the world experienced the biggest economic crisis. Beside this fact, the devaluation of the Iranian national currency and the pound sterling at that time paved the way for the embezzlement of the bank by the board of directors. Also, with the establishment of the League of Nations, the increasing of international relations caused Iran show the legitimacy of the new Iranian judicial system and after the abolition of the capitulation, it became popular in the world. The holding of the embezzlement trial provided a good propaganda achievement for the Iranian government in that regard. Key words.
